1. Terms and Conditions
1.1 Application
This Membership Agreement governs all memberships issued by Golf Central Pty Ltd.
1.2 Membership Products
Golf Central currently offers the following membership products:
(a) Platinum Yearly Membership
- One upfront payment of $440
- 12 month fixed term
(b) Platinum Monthly Membership
- 12 monthly payments of $45
- Minimum term of 12 months
- Total contract value of $540
(c) Players Club Membership
- One upfront payment of $99
- 12 month fixed term
Each product is subject to the applicable payment structure and minimum term as set out in this Agreement.
1.3 Acceptance
By purchasing any Membership Product, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. Where applicable, you authorise Ezidebit to debit the nominated account for scheduled membership payments.
1.4 Amendment
Golf Central reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Written notice will be provided where required.
2. Membership Term
2.1 Minimum Term
(a) Platinum Yearly Membership is a fixed 12 month membership commencing on the Membership Start Date.
(b) Platinum Monthly Membership is subject to a minimum term of 12 months consisting of 12 instalments of $45.
(c) Players Club Membership is a fixed 12 month membership commencing on the Membership Start Date.
2.2 Expiry of Membership
Upon completion of the applicable 12 month term, the Membership will automatically expire and cease to exist. Membership does not continue on a month to month basis. Members must actively renew if they wish to continue. Renewal requires acceptance of the current Membership Terms and applicable pricing at the time of renewal.
2.3 Non-Transferable
Memberships are personal and cannot be transferred without written consent.
3. Payments
3.1 Payment Structure
(a) Platinum Yearly and Players Club Memberships are payable in full upfront at the time of purchase.
(b) Platinum Monthly Membership is payable via 12 monthly instalments of $45 through Ezidebit.
3.2 Direct Debit Authority
Platinum Monthly Members authorise Ezidebit to deduct $45 per month for 12 consecutive months.
3.3 Failed Payments
If a scheduled payment under the Platinum Monthly Membership fails:
- All dishonour fees and administrative costs will be passed on to the Member.
- Golf Central may reattempt the debit.
- Membership access may be suspended until payment is rectified.
3.4 Binding DDR Agreement
The Direct Debit Request agreement is legally binding. Ezidebit may:
- Recover outstanding balances.
- Refer unpaid accounts to a Debt Collection Agency.
- Record a default notice on your credit file if recovery attempts fail.
3.5 Recovery Costs
Members agree to pay all reasonable costs incurred in recovering overdue amounts.
4. Access and Conduct
4.1 Suspension for Non-Payment
Membership access may be suspended where payment obligations are not met. For Platinum Monthly Membership, suspension does not pause or extend the minimum term.
4.2 Conduct
Golf Central may terminate membership immediately for unsafe, inappropriate or harmful behaviour.
5. Cancellation and Termination
5.1 Fixed Term Products
Platinum Yearly and Players Club Memberships are non-refundable once activated except where required by law.
5.2 Platinum Monthly Cancellation Within Minimum Term
If cancelling before completion of the 12 month minimum term, the full remaining contract balance becomes immediately payable.
5.3 Expiry
At the end of the 12 month term, membership expires automatically. No notice is required for expiry.
5.4 Discretionary Cancellation
Cancellation requests may be assessed on a case-by-case basis at Golf Central's sole discretion.
6. Membership Suspension, Freeze and Fee Adjustments
6.1 Temporary Hold
Available only for Platinum Yearly and Platinum Monthly Memberships:
- 14 days written notice required.
- Minimum hold period of 2 weeks.
- Maximum of 8 weeks per 12 month term unless approved.
- $15 hold fee per request.
- Membership Term is extended by approved hold period.
- No cancellation may be submitted during hold.
6.2 Medical Suspension
- Requires valid medical certificate.
- Minimum 4 weeks.
- No hold fee.
- Term extended accordingly.
6.3 Freeze Beyond Standard Hold
- $10 per week freeze fee.
- At the sole discretion of Golf Central.
- Term extended accordingly.
6.4 Price Adjustments
Price adjustments apply only to renewals, not during an active fixed 12 month term. Golf Central reserves the right to change pricing for new or renewed memberships with at least 28 days notice.
7. Liability
7.1 Use of Facilities
Use of Golf Central facilities is at your own risk.
7.2 Release and Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release and indemnify Golf Central Pty Ltd from liability except where caused by unlawful or grossly negligent acts.
