Golf Central Venue Terms & Conditions

GOLF CENTRAL RESTAURANT BOOKINGS:

Pre bookings in the clubhouse are recommended however we will accept walking in bookings subject to availability. Please note a group booking over 15 pax will constitute as an event and needs to be booked via our events team by phoning us on 3087 7800 or via email at events@landerspocket.com.au. We ask that any cancellation to your reservation be made no less than 24 hours prior. You can cancel your online booking via sevenrooms, by phoning us on 3087 7800 or email to info@golfcentralbne.com.au.

GOLF CENTRAL PLAY BAY BOOKINGS:

Play Bay bookings are for a maximum of 6 players per bay. If your booking exceeds 6 players you will need to book an additional bay. Whilst we will do our best to accommodate any requests for preferred bays we cannot guarantee requests for specific bays.

Each Play Bay booking includes: rental clubs, unlimited range balls (to be used only in the purchased bay)*, dedicated seating and Toptracer access.

*Balls are not to be shared within bays outside of the prearrange booked bays. If found that you are sharing balls between bays (not pre purchased) this may result in your booking being cancelled.

Cancellation: Should you need to reschedule your play bay booking please contact us on 3087 7800. If you wish to cancel your booking, you may do so up to 24hours prior to your booking time for a full refund. For cancellations less than 24 hours or no shows this will result in a 100% loss of payment.

GOLF CENTRAL EVENT BOOKINGS:

CONFIRMATION: A function at Golf Central is confirmed by forwarding the requested deposit (50%) within 5 business days of receiving the deposit invoice.

DEPOSIT: Deposits can be paid by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Electronic Funds Transfer or with Cash in store. Please note additional credit card charges will be applied. The deposit amount is based on 50% of the estimated number of guests attending the event.

MINIMUM SPENDS: Golf Central reserves the right to apply minimum food and beverage spends for event bookings. Any food, beverages or play contribute towards reaching your minimum spend. If the minimum spend quoted is not meant, the difference will be charged as venue hire.

FINAL NUMBERS: Notification of a guaranteed minimum number of guests attending the event is required seven (7) working days prior to the event date which will be the basis for final invoicing. The Guest will be charged the full amount for confirmed final numbers. There are no refunds or monies transferred available once final numbers are confirmed and paid for or if there is a reduction in final numbers on the day of the event.

FINAL PAYMENT: Payment in full is required seven (7) business days prior to the event date. Golf Central accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Electronic Funds Transfer or via Cash in store. Please note additional credit card charges will be applied. Any further charges including bar tabs are payable at the conclusion of the Guest’s event. The event contact/company is liable for payment of all charges associated with the event.

In the event the Guest does not provide Golf Central with final payment by the required date, Golf Central may either cancel the event or release any held space that has not been paid for by the Guest. This will occur four (4) working days prior to the date of the event as per the final numbers term (see ‘Final numbers’).

CANCELLATION: In the regrettable situation that a Guest cancels the event, written notification is required to events@golfcentralbne.com.au. The following cancellation terms will also apply.

14 days prior to the event: Fully refundable 

13-8 days prior to the event: Deposit is non-refundable

7 days and less prior to event: Non refundable, full event charges apply

WET WEATHER CANCELLATION: Please be aware the Mini Golf and the Driving Range is an outdoor venue and will operate in sunshine or rain. If there is inclement weather, the reserved event area will be located under cover. If there is heavy rain or bad weather forecasted, please contact us as early as possible (by 5pm the day before the event) to discuss the options. If the event does not proceed due to bad weather, we will either reschedule the event to another time or refund the amount of the Final Invoice paid. Management reserves the rights to hold the Deposit amount.

CHANGE OF DATE: Golf Central will allow one (1) opportunity to postpone the event and reschedule, subject to availability and management. Golf Central must be informed of postponement of an event thirty (30) or more working days prior to the original event date or it will be treated as a cancellation (see ‘Cancellation’). If the deposit invoice has already been paid, it will be transferred to the new date, subject to availability and management.

UNDERAGE GUESTS: Golf Central is a fully licensed venue. All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Valid proof of age identification includes the following only: valid passport, Australian driver’s license, state learners permit or proof of age card. No refunds will be given, or exceptions made for failure to provide valid proof of age identification upon request at Golf Central or for the negligence of current state licensing laws.

MINIMUM GUESTS: Golf Central has minimum guest requirements for event bookings. These minimums are dependent on the type of event booking and will be applied to your event if you are under the minimum number, unless written consent is provided by Golf Central prior to confirmation of final numbers and final payment.

DAMAGES: The Guest will be charged for any repairs, labour or replacements as deemed necessary by management in the event of any damages to Golf Central property during or after the event by the Guest, any guests attending, or suppliers engaged by the Guest.

RESPONSIBILITY: Golf Central does not accept responsibility for the damage or loss of goods left on the premises prior to, during or after a event.

SECURITY: If, in the opinion of Golf Central, it is necessary to employ staff for the purpose of maintaining security at any event, the cost of employing security staff will be added to the event charge, payable by the Guest. Golf Central will advise you if we see this as a necessary requirement for your event, in advance.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL: Golf Central follows the national guidelines on the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA). Golf Central staff members are instructed not to serve any alcoholic beverages to guests under the age of eighteen (18) years or to guests in a state of intoxication. Food is available for purchase at Golf Central. Golf Central does not accept responsibility for the intoxication of patrons due to lack of food consumption. The right to discontinue liquor service is reserved by Golf Central.

DECORATIONS AND EQUIPMENT: Decorations will need to be approved by the Events Team at Golf Central before the date of the event. No signage or display material is to be nailed, screwed, stapled or adhered to any surface of the venue (see ‘Damages’). If you have arranged for an external company to set up decorations within the event space, please have them contact the Events Team to arrange suitable times for set up and pack down. All decorations must be removed within 6 hours after the concluding time of the event, unless otherwise agreed. Golf Central will not be liable for any loss incurred to equipment or decorations supplied to the venue for set up (see ‘Suppliers’).

UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES: If Golf Central is unable to comply with any of the provisions of this Agreement by interruption of electricity or gas supplies, industrial disputes, plant or equipment failure, or other unforeseen circumstance or accident; Golf Central will not be liable.

RUNNING ORDER:  Golf Central management reserve the right, at its sole discretion, to alter the running order to best facilitate the event on the day. Should the Guest wish to make any changes to the running order of the event, Golf Central requires these to be communicated at least seven (7) working days prior to the event. If the Guest is running late for the agreed start time of their event, Golf Central reserves the right to adjust the Guest’s running order to honour pre-existing bookings.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE: No BYO Food or Beverage is permitted on the premises of Golf Central.

As we are a fully catered and licenced venue, it is Golf Central policy that food and beverage cannot be brought onto the premises. Please note consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish or eggs may increase your risk of food borne illness, especially if you have certain medical conditions.

Products containing tree nuts and peanuts are stored in this kitchen and may have come in contact with other food items. Please inform your event coordinator if a person in your party has a food allergy.

For dietary requirements and allergy concerns, please discuss with your event coordinator when placing your order. Please be aware there is always a risk that traces of allergens may be transferred during preparation, therefore we are unable to guarantee that any food item is allergy free. V=Vegetarian, VG=Vegan, LG=Low Gluten, LD=Low Diary. Buffets are portioned per guest, and quantities are placed out based on the number of guests confirmed. Buffet portions are finite and will not be replenished. Additional charges will apply if more food is requested, and extra portions are subject to availability.

SUPPLIERS: If your event is using third party suppliers (including: entertainment, transfers, equipment, etc) they must provide Golf Central with a valid copy of their certificate of currency, prior to your event booking. Any third party suppliers must be approved by Golf Central first. Please note Golf Central does not allow inflatable jumping entertainment of any kind (including bouncy castles, slides etc) to be brought onto Golf Central premises.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES: Any goods or services provided on the day that are not included in the Guest’s event must be paid for at the conclusion of the Guest’s event (i.e. bar tabs, extra play).

SAFETY: For the safety of all guests, offensive behaviour and/or indecent language; behaviour deemed dangerous to others will result in the guest being removed from Golf Central premises. In an event of an emergency please follow direction of the Golf Central team.

PETS: Whilst we love your furry friends, unfortunately for the safety & hygiene of all of our patrons we are a strictly no pet facility. Service dogs are exempt.
